After seeing Blade Runner 2049 is not even close to being as good as the original

The arc for the main villain is incomplete.

1. The secondary villain is just generic and does not feel to being part of the universe.

2. There is no Shakespearean quotations like the original.

3. Jared Leto character sounds like he wants to say something important but he does not. in any instance.

4. Deckard of 2049 is nowhere close to the Deckard of the original. The original had wit and a noir kind of charm whereas this version is just indiana jones crystal skull character played by same actor.

5. Only the scene where the prostitutes approach, the train scene in beginning and bridge scene LOOK like the blade runner universe. Rest looks like Oblivion (Tom Cruise movie). Beautiful and Visually stunning but not blade runner.

6. The romantic element was good but the sync sequence should have been cut. that was completely not in sync with the noir feel of the original.

7. In the original you could feel the anguish of the replicants as the 'others' and yearning to be free but here it somehow to me feels totally different and just a happens to be kind of thing. The original had a feeling of metaphors that you had to fill while this one delivers everything for you and completes the puzzle for you in terms of plot.

8. Everything was oversexualized and voilence was overused completely unlike the original which was subtle. In the original every violence act and romantic look had poetry to it.

On its own its a very good film, i had originally rated it 8-8.5/10 but sleeping over it and seeing it again it fell to a 7 especially looking at the way I saw the original and felt about it. There were scenes with Batty that not a single line by any character in this movie comes close to.
