Hello /r/movies
I thought this might be the community to ask for recommendations if I wanted to see something good. Coming from years of anime, I really like animation and I'd like to know if there are any animated movies that are simply a must-see.
As for genre, I don't really care as long as the execution is good. Technically, I would be fine with adaptions of originally animated material as well.
Some animated movies and series I've seen and enjoyed, to have a baseline:
- Patema Inverted
- Kill La Kill
- Little Witch Academia
- some movies by Studio Ghibli
- Kimi no na wa (Your name)
- Expelled From Paradise
- Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works
- KonoSuba
- Lucky Star
Based on this, what are some animated movies I definitely should watch?
