With Science Fiction and Fantasy being two predominate and popular genres in hollywood, why haven't there been more attempts to combine the two into one film? Both genres have large fanbases and a lot of unique, creative stuff can be done both visually and narratively in a movie that has elements from both, so if one was done well, it would have a lot going for it.
