What should I pick for my Tuesday movie American Assassin or Mother

I'm leaning towards Mother and my friend is leaning towards Assassin. Our tie breaker is always the rotten tomatoes score but

American Assassin is 34% critic and 72% audience Mother is 68% critic and 42% audience

My friend always leans towards the audience score while I tend to find people* stupid.
