What are movies Reddit has trashed before they came out only to realize they were really good or vice versa?

The recent one that comes to mind for me is IT. I remember when the first image that came out of Pennywise, people were freaking out that it was supposed to look more friendly. I don't think it really started gaining some respect until the first teaser came out.

What are some other movies that Reddit had a negative or positive reaction on only to realize the complete opposite when the movie came out?
