"The Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Beginning": They shouldn't have bother since this beginning doesn't offer anything new or fresh and we don't get any relevant information about Leatherface and quite honestly, did anyone really care? It's not scary or suspenseful and none of the characters are interesting. Poor Matt Bomer acts as if he's Tom Cruise on Born on the Forth of July. Seriously!
"The Hitcher": Why would you do a remake of a cult classic like "The Hitcher" and remove the homoerotic subtext of the original by switching the gender of the lead? They even copy the infamous truck body slashing moment. And Sean Bean might look like Rutger Hauer but he's no Rutger Hauer. A low-rent action thriller with none of the mood of its antecessor.
