And man was that some twisted, fucked up goodness. I mean, Jesus what a plot twist. Did anybody see that coming? I feel like most of the time I’m pretty intuitive but that blew my fucking skull and broke my heart at the same time. The button for his pacemaker triggering the audio especially cut deep for a final gut punch. I also loved the open-ended finish in the snow. Beautifully shot and a lot to reflect upon. I’m thinking I’m gonna skip the Spike Lee remake and just stick with this maybe perfect film unless someone here can tell me it’s worth it.
