A few of mine are:
-Boondock Saints. I was so confused (and tired which exacerbated the confusion I think) when I first saw this. It was a weird, random bro-cult movie that I just had no appreciation for. The second time I watched it, the bizarre awesomeness and hilarity hit just hit me, and I got it.
-Yes Man. I saw it when it came out, and it just seemed really awkward and not that funny. I know it's not super deep, but the more I've watched it, the more I've learned to appreciate it's meaning. I surprisingly look to it for inspiration these days.
-Hot Fuzz. Didn't know what to make of it at first. Kind of funny but mostly strange to me, but the more I watched it, the funnier it got. Seemed like there were all these hidden jokes, and I would discover something new every time I watched it.
-Kill Bill Vol. 2. Loved the Kung Fu/anime style of Vol. 1, and just couldn't wrap my head around the western feel of Vol. 2. Watched it once when it came out. Then several years later I watched again and realized what a freaking awesome and sad love story it actually is.
Just think it's interesting how my opinion could change with a second or third watch. Wandering what other people's experiences are. :)
