The only (nitpicky) problem I had with Blade Runner 2049

The digital glitching effects on the logos and credits before and after the movie.

That aesthetic is TOTALLY cyberpunk... But I don't think it really works in Blade Runner. Pretty much everything in this universe, even in the new movie, is analog. In fact, Denis Villeneuve came up with the blackout concept to specifically maintain the retrofuturistic aesthetic of the original movie. He didn't want everything to look too new and shiny, so he sent most of the world's technology back to a pre-digital age via disaster.

I know this seems like such a minor complaint, but introducing the movie with those glitches made me a little nervous at first. It just felt "off." And when it happened again at the end, it felt like a decision made by an editor who wasn't involved with the creation of the overall movie.

I think it would've been more on-theme if the distortion had simulated an old tube TV with a bad signal, or maybe if the logos looked like neon signs. What we got felt like it belonged more in the new Ghost in the Shell adaptation.

I found the movie absolutely perfect, but this one little petty thing has been kinda bugging me and I wanted to know if you guys felt the same way.
