Recently rewatched Total Recall (the Schwarzenegger version, not the remake) and it occurred to me that in spite of the hammy acting, over the top 80's style violence, and triple breasted mutant prostitutes, this movie actually has a surprisingly deep philosophical quandary into the nature of reality and consciousness. What other movies cover deep philosophical questions that might be overlooked due to the blockbuster facade?
