In case any moviegoer missed the "Alien" (1979) easter egg in "Blade Runner 2049"...

Not really a spoiler because it has nothing to do with the movie plot, and this is only apparent if you have seen the movies "Alien" and "Aliens" a lot, AND have a taste for detail, but if you do and you care about stumbling upon this naturally, read no further until you've seen "Blade Runner 2049". I'll use the tag.

As Deckard and Joe walk up to his upstairs bar hideaway, with the candy dispensers and gadgets, and they stand looking outside the window at the plaza, an ambient droning noise is heard within the environmental sounds of the hotel;

it's this sound, the pitching and falling low "breathing" sound effect of the Nostromo, first heard in the medical bay: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Eta5t850U3M "Oooooooouuuuuuuuuuooooooo..." The sound is also used in "Aliens", in the Hadley's Hope lab and Ops).

(I have used spoiler tags, can't say why they aren't working.)
