Why I don't think I can muster buying a ticket to IT (2017)

In 2015, Cary Fukanaga, wrote his second draft of the script for IT that looked to be the best horror movie of the decade. After reading about the script, it seemed to be insanely creepy movie, albeit different from the source materiel. However, Fukanaga bailed from IT because Warner Brothers wanted a mlre generic horror film more aligned with the source material. Which to me seems strange because Stephen King's work plays best when it doesn't give creedence to the books, think of Stanley Kubrick's the shining. Warner Brothers replaced Fukanaga with the man who wrote both Annabelle films, and some shit named Swamp Devil. The fact that the shooting script was made by a dude who wrote incredibly mediocre generic horror movies makes me think that IT 2017 will be nothing more than mediocre. To me given Warner Bros money allows them to be hacks who make shite safe boring movies.

I would love do hear your thoughts on IT 2017.
