On paper, I can't really figure out what about this scene gets such a cheer, because nothing's really being achieved. Sometimes the horse is running out of danger, and sometimes he's running back into it.
The only thing I can really think of that ought to explain anything is that he's finally stretching his legs.
I'm not trying to argue that the scene shouldn't get a cheer, 'cause it worked on me, too. I'm just wondering if anyone here has a better explanation for it than I do.
