When two is good enough, films that the first two were the best.

What movies were good or great in the first two installments before everything went to hell.

Examples, The Godfather, part 1 and 2 were great, 3 (ugh there’s not enough alcohol to erase that from my mind) that probably shouldn’t have been made.

Robocop 1 & 2, good or great, 3 was a supersized made for TV movie.

Airplane 1 was great and 2 had a decent outing.

Hot Shots Part 1 and Part Deux.

What others are out there?

Kill Bill counts as 1 film in my book.
