When do you guys think that DVDs will finally be phased out?

I was sitting here today thinking about that. Me personally, I never buy DVDs anymore. I'm a bit of a videophile, and hate buying DVDs when I know that there's a better looking, higher resolution version of the movie out there for only a few bucks more. But, I assume that there are plenty of people that are still buying DVDs, because they keep making them.

I did some looking, and it looks like the first VHS movie came out around 1976, and the last movie to be released on VHS came out in 2006 (Which is actually when the first Blu-Ray movie was released). The first DVD was released in 1996, so it's been going for over 20 years so far, but it doesn't seem like they're planning on getting rid of DVD any time soon.

With Blu-Ray as prevalent as it is, and with 4K Blu-Ray starting to become bigger, how much longer do you guys think it will be before DVDs are finally done?
