What are your thoughts on United 93 (2006)?

As many people know there is a new film coming out this weekend about 9/11 with Charlie Sheen and Whoopi Goldberg starring and this weekend I took some time to check out a film that detailed a certain point of view of the event. United 93 came out in 2006 (five years after the event) and tells the story of the fourth plane that was hijacked with the supposed intention of hitting the Captiol Building but crashed due to an uprising by the passengers on the plane.

I thought that the movie was extremely well directed. Paul Greengrass didn't make any attempt to add an unnecessary drama and most of the actors in the film are completely unknown to the audience. Some actors are even playing themselves. He also doesn't point any fingers at anyone. He basically tells the event in real time based on facts he knows with as little fabrication as possible. No one really knows what truly went on during that flight but it doesn't get overdramatic. It is pretty brutal though and I would probably never watch it again, but I do think its important.

What is your opinion on United 93? Should it have been made?
