In the classic 1976 film Rocky, both Balboa and Creed endure a grueling 15 round match, with both sides suffering serious damage (Rocky's eye and Apollo's ribs, respectively). Near the end of the fifteenth, Rocky throws a barrage of body blows to Creed, with the latter literally being on the ropes. My question is: Was Apollo Creed saved by the bell?
