Studios, please get your shit together with wide releases

It's almost the end of the decade and we still suffer from badly distributed films. The most recent example is in my case Wind River, which still hasn't been released in Brazil (2 November Date). Seriously, fuck the distributors for doing this shit. This is why piracy is still prevalent. Studios keep bitching every year about torrents and how their films are being stolen, but they are the ones that are fucking the consumers over.

Remember, we just want to watch the damn film. Why is it so hard to release it worldwide at the same month? This is unacceptable. Marvel, even if you hate them, is a fantastic example of a studio that distributes fairly, releasing their films worldwide even before the U.S.

Let's not forget last year when 'Silence', which was on course to Best Picture, was backstabbed by the distributors, which didn't even give it a proper wide release. I only got to see it because of the internet, months after it left theathers.

This whole thing just makes me mad, and at the same time glad I don't live in Australia, which I hear will get 'The Force Awakens' next month.
