Hi there. Just seen the movie 'Oblivion' with Tom Cruise directed by Joseph Kosinski (Tron: Legacy), and I have very STRONG feelings about it. I admit that I came into the movie having little hope, but i was caught off guard: I love the visuals full of symbolism, I love the action, I especially love the music (by M83, who made one of my favourite albums ever) and the plot has both some of the most infuriating clichèes (done poorly aswell), but also some of the BEST sci-fi moments I've ever seen on film.
STRONGLY recommended if you're willing to close an eye on some cheesy stuff. If you had your eye on it for some time but were discouraged by its 7 on IMDB, just go for it: I can't say it has not any flaws, but it's still worth your time, and the ending is GREAT.
