The news broke yesterday that Colin Trevorrow, director of Jurassic World (and more importantly The Book of Henry), left or had been removed from Star Wars Episode IX. This puts Disney in the position of having to replace Trevorrow with a new director at the helm.
Personally, I'd love to see someone like Jeff Nichols (Midnight Special) or Ava Duvernay (A Wrinkle in Time)take over. Duvernay being a more likely option given that she is already directing a Disney film.
Shit, I'd even love another Rian Johnson film.
