I was listening to random music on Spotify when I heard a section that made me double-take a little. The tune was El Nino by Steve Hackett (ex. Genesis - yes, I'm old), and the bit of music is the bridge section heard here at ~1:05 and again at ~2.02

Given that the album was released in 2017, I wonder how inspired by the WW theme was he? Maybe not at all, but the use of what sounds like harmonic minor mode in both seems to suggest that there might have been some cross-pollination. Also the drumming, which is more prevalent in the studio than the live version, has that same heavy flamming on the toms. Too much to be coincidence, I think.
