Kong Skull island was one of the most disappointing movies

When i saw the trailer, i felt super excited. I was ready for some great monster on monster action and to see all the unique creatures, but for some reason i never got to see it since its release. I felt utterly disappointed when i finally got to see the movie yesterday.

Also another proof Rotten Tomatoes is a complete joke, they gave this movie 76% while so many other movies they shit upon for no reason.

Kong didnt even look good. The older kong from King Kong looked way more real and majestic than this BROWN monkey, Kong is supposed to be a silverback gorilla type and this looked nothing like it.

Also, there were so many childish loopholes every inch of the movie, i know this is an action movie, a popcorn movie but still you gotta be smarter than a kid.

Those small birds, at first simply fly away from humans, then they attack the scientist on the boat, then they attack the soldier shooting guns in the middle of the lizard fight. Those small birds cannot be that badass or so inconsistent, utter nonsense.

Those lizards, wait a minute, why would the lizard straight up ignore kong and run towards puny humans. No logic in the world can explain a creature that has a huge kill in front of it would leave it and run behind ant sized creature. The main lizard does it a second time too, which is even more bullshit. It is getting hit my heavy bullets from the ship, but starts chasing Tom instead, WTF. It is so intelligent that it whips the guy trying to suicide with grenade away with its tail, but its so dumb to run after one puny ant? Utter inconsistency in animal behavior.

I dont care how exciting you wanna make the movie, if you cant even get the character of one brainless animal in a consistent way, its just plain bullshit direction.

Then the characters are all TEXTBOOK. One guy is the evil explorer who hides information from everyone and puts them in danger, the other guy just wants revenge for his men who got killed and makes incoherent decisions. The scared scientist who gets killed in the most stupid way possible.

Overall, i just wasn't happy with anything about the movie, i didnt expect it to be the same old textbook crap plot movie.
