I've found a scientific way around the time travel paradox in film, help me figured out what I should do with it?

Easy TL;DR below, I'm too lazy to read and condense this stuff and I'm tired, goodnight, and good luck getting through my uncontrollable ramblings like I'm doing now I'm sorry thanks bye.

You don't believe me, that's fine. I've had a few years since high school when I first conjured the idea, and trust me I've tried to disprove it. I went so far to make a physics and astronomy professor sign an nda at a university to talk about it and see if he can tell me I'm wrong. I was in certain aspects, but I was able to construct a true idea with him agreeing about it. I'm always down to be proven wrong, but I genuinely feel this idea is very solid. I love science, albeit I don't have a very scientific mind. I appreciate it so much to make sure everything I do in my film ideas is scientifically 100% correct.

Now, my question: as a gonna-be writer/director later, should I just sit on it? Wait, take the chance that nobody else thinks of a similar idea a decade or two down the line and make it myself for full exposure and so ppl call me genius? Or should I not, maybe see about selling the idea to a production company? Get ahead, and make sure my name is tied to the idea. Another person may direct it, but I can still have the possibility of truly making my own idea with it decades later anyways. I honestly want to sell it the most, simply because I'm broke af and maybe I'll get some light shed on me inside the industry early. That is if the production company even pays attention or recognizes me.

Now, if I do go upon selling it, can I? Albeit it's a broad, scientific idea, it is still fictional. It has no genuine scientific merit I guess save for the fact it can't really be disproven, as my professor said and that's all I need. So it's still a fictional idea, I'd imagine. I don't know legal thigns or spelling.

Now, if I can, how do I do it? Copyright it? How do I get in contact with a production company that will take me seriously enough? Also, should I make them sign an nda? As well, will all I need is an nda? Should I buy a lawyer with my credit card that is nearly overdrawn? Should I not even think this far ahead because it's never gonna happen anyways and I'm retarded?

I truly feel the idea is currently the best way to make a time travel movie that no scientist can roll their eyes at in the plot when you truly change time. So I'd imagine this is something that any production company might really want, and it's not just a usual "hey here's a cool film idea I think." Maybe I'm a little too optimistic, but idc.

Sorry if I went too in depth with this if I didn't need to and there's just a short answer either destroying all my hope or just a "go to that website." Pls forgive, I'm a young ignorant person.

Thanks if anyone helps or may know how to go about doing this stuff. I appreciate you even if you just comment calling me an idiot. I prolly am.

TL;DR How can I contact a production company to discuss maybe selling this time travel idea that works around the paradox, should I, and how to not get screwed over? Also should I, or instead take the chance no one else realizes this idea before I'm able to finally direct it myself a decade or so later?
