I should clarify that I did attempt to watch Blade Runner about 10 years ago when I was just starting to seriously get into film. I'm pretty sure it was the theatrical cut (got it from Netflix when DVDs in the mail was their main thing), though I'm not 100% certain. I got about 20 minutes in before I shut it off and decided to try again the next day when I wasn't so sleepy. Obviously I never followed through. I love Denis Villeneuve, so I really want to see Blade Runner 2049, but I feel that I should probably watch the original first.
