I can't be sure if this is the right sub, and if not please tell me - I'd love to put the title of the movie in the title but seeing as I can't remember it...
I'm looking for an animated movie which I believe I saw approximately 10 years ago, on network TV (ABC/CBS/NBC most likely). It was about a worldwide extinction event. There was a DNA vault of sorts and I think the main characters may have taken a spaceship to a new planet? I recall the animation style being somewhat anime-like and that every time they went to a commercial break they would very specifically say "[movie title] starring [apparently well-known voice actor] will return" in your typical movie trailer bass voice. I also recall it being rather long, maybe 3-5 hours?
