Disney should absolutely delay HAN SOLO and EPISODE IX back to their December release dates

It makes ZERO sense to have Han Solo and Episode 9 release just a few weeks after Disney's other biggest franchise, and franchise culmination films in Avengers 3 & 4. Why undercut your own box office potential by putting your two biggest franchises back to back? Also, December has been fantastic for Star Wars, making it a yearly holiday event and with little competition in that timeframe. Not to mention the added benefit of increased merchandise & toy sales since it falls during the Christmas and holiday season.

And most importantly, with all of the production problems surrounding these two films, pushing it back to December will give them more time to polish. Episode IX in particular is starting over from scratch, rewriting a script and bringing in a new director. There's no reason to rush these films out.

If Disney sticks with this current release strategy, it might be the dumbest scheduling I've ever seen.

Thoughts?
