This past month, I've been on a bit of a comedy movie binge, many of the movies including party scenes. It's obvious that a good party scene is one you'd love to throw yourself or, at the very least, go to. I decided to round up a few of my favorites:
- Real Genius: the dorm hall party on ice and the beach party in the performance center, complete with pool in the orchestra pit
- 10 Things I Hate About You
- 21 Jump Street: prep for the party, then the party itself
- Any party in Old School
- for the more toned down, Office Space
- Anchorman: Urgent and horrifying news story
- The Nice Guys: mermaid party in LA
- pretty much all of Dazed and Confused
- Can't Hardly Wait
- cannot find the clip, but the party in Adventureland at Kristen Stewart's house
These are just a handful of party scenes off of the top of my head. What are some of your favorite party scenes? And what do you think makes a good one?
