Hey all. I just watched this movie American Fable and haven't been able to find a coherent or informative analysis. It's on Netflix. I was hoping someone could fill me in.
The synopsis: "After 11-year-old Gitty discovers a man who can grant wishes hiding in her family's silo, she is forced to choose between saving the man's life and protecting her family."
I am curious about the man and the woman on the horse and the final scene and how it started with the death of a small deer and then ended with the death of a buck.
Also I was reading and it said that colors play a big role in the movie and it's meaning.
I also didn't really understand the nosey neighbor and why she drove the Sheriffs car.
The acting also seemed to be deliberately bad. Like they were overplaying certain scenes deliberately.
The tale about the scarecrow was also interesting, especially given the tale about the lion and the mouse. In curious of the significance, if any.
I would really appreciate any input and thank y'all advance. Much appreciated.
