I am trying my best to enjoy this and I can't decide for the life of me what's wrong with it. Is the premise bad? Not really. Is Noomi not up to the challenge? I feel like if Eddie Murphy can do it in like 5 movies and Ed Norton can make a career out of it, Noomi should be able to get an hour and a half out of it. Is the writing bad? Are they trying to get that John Wick/Taken vibe in a sci-fi setting? Why do they all sound foreign if they grew up with Willem DaFoe? Please help me understand what is wrong with this movie. I don't hate it, but the reviews I read on here made me want to see it.
