What are some of the worst examples of characters making up after a lengthy action scene where they try and kill each other, but don't only because of pure luck?

Recently saw GOTG 2 and Nebula and Gamora undoubtedly try to murder each other for quite awhile. They literally only don't kill each other by pure luck and then kiss and make up after showing they don't give two shits whether the other dies or not. So what are other examples of this nonsensical type of action scene and resolution?
