The 'Accountant' is better than John Wick - thoughts?

Just saw the movie and loved it. I wish I'd seen it sooner, but I was misled by bad reviews - critics are morons.

I see a lot of similarities in the 2 movies - a well developed story with a lot less exposition compared to a typical Hollywood thriller and a lot of things are shown briefly and left the audience to figure out, but all the answers are there.

The title refers to the characters, not the movie. I think Christian Wolff is far more capable and would beat John Wick in any sort of encounter.

Wick comes across as a street thug who's become really good at killing. The movie treats him as some kind of superhero (esp the 2nd one) and isn't realistic (far less so than The Accountant). John Wick is an expert with guns but is just average when it comes to hand to hand combat, and in fact usually gets beaten up.

Wolff in the other hand comes across as a trained lethal killer - his movement, fighting ability, gun handling etc are all superior, and he's a lot closer to Jason Bourne type badass killer (except smarter) than a comic book character. He's bigger, more skilled and stronger.

Bourne might have an edge over him due to more improvisational skills and field experience, but I don't think there are many other characters in film who'd stand a chance against the Accountant.
