Watching Dunkirk in theaters, I was moved by the amount of civilian boats that traveled to Dunkirk to rescue soldiers. I never thought I would see something so similar in Texas. Civilians stepping up to rescue their neighbors and fellow citizens. I know the situations are vastly different, but it's incredible to witness such a heroic act on the big screen and then see it play out in real life.
