Ever sit through an opening sequence of a film so intense that blows you away? Ever sit through the first few minutes of a movie that makes you say, "Now that's how you start a fucking movie!"?
For me, at least recently, I'd have to choose Mad Max Fury Road. But here are some other contestants: Dunkirk, Saving Private Ryan, John Wick 2, Drive, Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation, & The Raid 2. Hell, I'd even throw in Whiplash, Evil Dead, & 28 Days Later. All of those have excellent, intense opening sequences that suck you right into the movie.
So what are some of your favorite intense starts to movies?
