Everyone likes Star Wars Lightsabers, but maybe not the most practical weapon (unless you can use the Force, it's just a hot sword). Most blasters apparently have terrible accuracy. The Death Star was killer, till it got blown up.
Harry Potter's wand, or Frodo's ring could be badass fantasy weapons, but they're magic, not technology. (Couldn't use the wand anyway cause I'm a muggle, and the ring would turn me into a gollum.)
Yondu's flying arrow (from GOTG), is a pretty awesome and original sci-fi weapon. Or maybe one of those liquid Terminator 2 killer robots?
