Myself grew up watching alot of Robin Williams movies, I would always watch Mrs Doubtfire when I was over at my cousins and it always made me laugh and sort of cry when it all went down hill at the dinner. It wasnt until about 4-5 years ago that I watched Good Morning Vietnam, Dead Poets Society and Good Will Hunting. When his death was reported it took a bit of an impact on me because I just couldnt fathom how someone as happy and bright as himself could just end it like that.
I feel like Robins story could be one to tell in the future, not now but definetly in the future. I have heard that a fiar bit of comedians can be completely different to when they off stage which is why I feel it would make a good biopic. If you showed his rise to fame, the stress behind closed doors and his different personality on stage then it could make for a good heartwarming but yet seriously emotional film.
Just my thoughts on the matter and am completely open to any of your opinions. Do you guys agree/disagree? What would you focus on if you made a robin williams biopic?
