Requiem for a Dream

The relevancy of this film is the highest it’s ever been. No part of this film is attractive. The sense of despair the viewer gets is unlike any film.

The opioid epidemic has pushed many users to heroin and killed many. We all know or are related to (like I am) someone who struggles or has struggled with addiction.

I think this movie is important because it in no ways glorifies the drug. It shows the vile paths people take towards their demise. This movie hit me more now than ever and I hope it does to more people out there.

What do you think?
