Quick Question: If you had to divide horror movies into any two categories, what would you divide them into?

I am part of a small movie club where we watch two movies a month and discuss it. This will be our first time doing the club during October so I wanted to pick two horror movies categories for people to nominate movies in. I want one type of horror movie for the first half of the month and two for the second half.

I thought about dividing it into two time periods but am not sure where to put the divide. I also thought about separating them into two genres. I could even do four genres if I could pair two up.
