I FINALLY watched The VVitch after a couple years pf really wanting to (I'm a sucker for period pieces) and it seems like in the past few years, theres been a very gritty, stylish, almost hyper-realistic trend going on in horror movies that I am really digging. With this movie, and Green Room and It Comes at Night, (ALL of which I thoroughly enjoyed, although they're not for everyone) I'm excited to see if this continues. What do you guys think? Are there any others you guys can recommend that fits this mold?
