IMO blockbusters have really became lackluster over the past few years. However, with Denis Villeneuve directing the new Blade Runner and being rumored to direct Cleopatra, I am beginning to have faith in a resurgence of stunning blockbusters. I feel like he may become the next big name director. What do you guys think? I'm interested to hear the opinions of those who do not enjoy his films, and why they do not.
