How I would've done The Dark Universe (Plus how it can still be saved)

Okay so the Mummy did not get the Dark Universe which is a shame because while I was not really excited for the movie itself I was excited for the Dark Universe. I like the idea where all these famous movie monsters (and also the Phantom of the Oprea and Hunch Back of Notre Dame who I mention separately because they are not really monsters) existing in the same world.

So when I heard they were making a Universe out of this I got hyped. If only The Mummy was good but it was not and now the Dark Universe is now uncertain. Now since I did this with a King Arthur Cinematic Universe a day ago I will be doing the same here for the Dark universe. How would I do The Dark Universe differently.

First I would have Dracula: Untold be the first film yes it may not be that good but it would've began it in a way that slowly introduced us to this world. I also would've had the Mummy come after but I would've done it radically different First I don't know where I heard this but I heard that it was going to be a bout a Marine in the U.S Army going to Egypt and uncovering the secret if this is true I would've had it be that but keep it in Egypt and have it be a Horror movie with maybe some action in it.

Now I don't know if that is true or not if not well then I am sorry if I had lied to anybody. Perhaps though it could be about that soldier trying to escape the tomb of the Mummy with some others and maybe in the end he could get the Mummy's powers after defeating it becoming the Mummy himself. Then end it with a mid-credits scene having the Shield style company in the final film with Dr. Jekyll.

Then after that a Creature from the Black lagoon movie set in the 50's this would be for obvious reasons but mainly because Cellphones and Radar was not invented yet (or atleast use to it's full capability) and maybe have The creature be immortal, Then a Jekyll and Hyde movie set in the early 2000's, and then Wolfman, Invisible man, and Frankenstein movie all set in modern day.

Then the big crossover film would NOT be the Van Hellsing movie but I think a Van Hellsing movie would instead be a origin story of the character (and this may sound unpopular but I would cast either Idris Elba or Maisie Williams in the role of Van Hellsing). Then of course the big crossover movie which for now I would just title Universal Monsters and have Hellsing gather them up for that Shield style Agency to go up against a bigger threat. But however I would still have most of them be horror movies (of course from the sounds of this some would be action but with Horror elements in them)

But that is how I would've done it but how can it still be fixed. Well the next film is going to be Bride of Frankstein so how I would fix would for the films to be actual horror movies (if you want some actions movies then fine but atleast have ACTUAL horror elements in them).
