And I found out that AMC censored the racial slurs, which the movie has a lot of. Is it just me, or is the movie a lot funnier with the racial slurs or am I just racist? Like that whole scene where Bart first arrives in Rock Ridge, and the mayor (or something) goes like “It is my privilege to extend a laurel to our new... nigger.” AMC censored this and had the guy say nothing instead, and it was substantially less funny. I’m not ragging on AMC for censoring it, because it’s really understandable, but I think the movie really isn’t as funny as it is when it’s uncensored.
