I saw a Sci-Fi movie a few years ago that was really interesting. I wanted to find it again, but I have no idea what the title was, and it wasn't a mainstream movie.
So essentially, the story followed a teenage boy. Towards the start, he takes some sort of drug, and he goes on a really crazy trip (the audience experienced his perspective and visions through a whole bunch of cool and relaxing retro shape and color simulations). Then later in the movie, the kid is killed in a bathroom, and the audience follows the perspective of the teens soul leaving the body. Now we're traveling over the city with his soul, seeing over the tops of rooms and what not.
Sorry If I'm not explaining it the best, as I hardly remember the movie, but what I do remember was how unique and trippy the movie was. I believe it came out between 2012 and 2015. I tried searching by Sci-Fi movies, but there are literally hundreds of them. So maybe one of you guys know! I believe it was on Netflix as well
