I’m watching it and it’s so laughably terrible. I was already cracking up at the beginning opening credits: “Starring Tommy Wiseau” “Executive Producer Tommy Wiseau” “Produced by Tommy Wiseau” “Directed by Tommy Wiseau” “Written by Tommy Wiseau”
I have no clue why he decided to dub over the film. It looks so bad. The acting is cringe and so are Tommy’s “hahaa” laughs lmao. The dialogue is questionable too. You can tell Wiseau is behind the dialogue because English native speakers don’t really talk that way.
I’m also currently reading The Disaster Artist. In the beginning, Greg Sestero says Tommy offered him the role of Mark, saying “we pay you good money”. Greg goes on to say that Tommy told everybody that there were 5 other producers backing him on the film, and nobody, not even Greg, believes that these producers are real. He says, by “we”, he means himself. Tommy Wiseau is the founder of Wiseau-Films, the President, chief executive officer, treasurer, legal department, brand manager, administrative assistant, phone answerer and mail opener. This is so fun to watch just to see how bad it is. Can’t wait for the James Franco film
