I don't really hate Spiderman 3 as much as everyone else seems to, I just think it's kind of bad, but still enjoyable. However, there is one thing about the film that I think is very unfairly judged - the emo Peter Parker scene.
The general consensus about it seems to be: It's cringy, dumb and annoying. Ummm, yeah. Isn't that the whole point of the scene?
Peter, as someone who was an outsider for most of his life, wouldn't really know what's considered cool, so behaving like an emo and dancing to jazz music was his best guess. I thought it's supposed to be ridiculous, to show how the symbiote actually changed Peter for the worst.
I'm curious to hear people's thoughts, though. If you thought it was terrible, please explain why, I'm really interested. And if it worked for you, what made it work?
