I've never sat through a film so boring as Into The Void.

Edit: I meant Enter The Void.

I've got nothing against quitting a film half way if I'm bored of it and usually wont sit through anything that isnt really catching my attention.

I just sat through two and a half hours of Into The Void and was so, so bored for most of it. It just dragged on and on with nothing happening. It was just a series of events.

But I kept on watching because I thought surely this must come together in something good. It's just taking it's time.

But it was just some basic metaphor for life and death. I expect theres some imagery that you can pick apart but beside that it's just empty.

Ive looked it up and pretty much only seen people talking about watching while tripping. Which might be worth a go. But I dont think a movie can be called good when you have to be high to enjoy it. A movie like 2001: A Space Oddysey is a good movie to watch high and sober be ause its a good movie. This isnt that. Which is crazy because it has tonnes of sex and drugs and visuals but it's pacing is just tedious and stretched out. I imagine thats probably intentional for sone artistic value.

Am I missing something? I was keeping an eye out the whole time for some sort of meaning, I was thinking things over. I couldnt find anything beyond skin-deep imagery.
