positivechange

After fighting for years, the tide has swept over you too. Ankles tied to the bottom of a barren sea. This is stagnation. The opposite of change and power and growth. It's the existence of a being who's unremarkable. A true bottom feeder who's dependent upon what comes along for food. Might be shit and might be gold, but best learn patience because gold don't float. It's pretty elusive, in fact, and that's why it's so valuable, so treasured…that along with its inherent shimmering beauty.

Gold is a funny thing and makes men do funny things while in pursuit. In chasing after the substance, one might lose sight of everything else, and thus become lost or frozen in time. This is the danger we encounter each day. The question of whether or not we'd be better off with such a prize can be answered by understanding how one goes about pursuing it. In the end, we get what we deserve. This journey is the wondrous place where we earn it.
