The more I hear about the upcoming Terminator sequel/reboot/remake/whothefuckevencaresatthispointlikeseriouslywhatthefuckisgoingon? the more upset I get that, in all likelihood, the role of John Connor will be recast (yet again).
Personally, I’d love to see Eddie Furlong return to the role (provided he gets clean). Hell, I’m pretty optimistic that it could happen. After all, Robert Downey Jr. was deadbeat junkie and now look him! The man was pivotal in launching the MCU and played a part in changing the cinematic landscape into what it is today (for better or worse).
Arnie will be back, James Cameron has some legitimate creative input, and now Linda Hamilton has signed on to return as Sarah. I sincerely hope Furlong gets his shit together before he winds up dead in a crack den somewhere after leaving his ex-wife several creepy/angry voicemail messages.
So how about you? Are you part of the minority that wanted to see Terrance Howard return as James Rhodes? Are you pissed that Hugo Weaving decided to bail on the MCU after one movie? Which actor and/or actress would you like to see return to a role?
