What are some of the most overused jokes/gags in comedies?

Now saying the jokes cant be funny if they are executed well, but it generally doesnt happen. The middle name joke was a big one, with the main character jokingly saying their middle is dangerous, etc. Another big one is physical humor such as characters getting hurt or guys getting hit in the groin. The scene in Elf where he gets hit by the taxi cab is an example where this type of humor works very well because its so unexpected. But in a movie like Paul Blart where half the jokes are like this it becomes tiresome very quickly.

Of course a lot of movies use racial humor, which can be very funny, or it can just be straight up cringe. That one is more of a hit or miss, even if it works though it feels like the movie is just aiming for the low hanging fruit.

So what jokes/gags are you most tired or think get used to much?
