I'm not sure what the point of this post is, but there's that one distinctive sound that is repeatedly heard in The Shining (Danny's daydream vision) and Full Metal Jacket (in the bathroom scene) and I want to know if it has a name. The best way I can describe it is that it mostly goes something like this: ting silence ting silence tingtingtingtingtingting. You likely know what I'm talking about. Also, did I miss its use in some other movies?
