This one I know will not be loved but I'm not here to do anything but speak the truth, Solaris (2002) isn't just one of the best scifi films this century, it is better than Tarkovsky's [I'm not saying Tark's is bad in any way they are different] and one of Clooney's best roles and performances. Natascha McElhone and Jeremy Davies are both really good. Soderbergh did a great job and you can see his influence from Kubrick here and there. Whom I think would have enjoyed his version of the film. It also should be noted the soundtrack by Cliff Martinez is enthralling. I recommend it if you haven't seen it.
